According to Stahlpreis, prices are slowly going down. Demand is decreasing. Can anyone confirm this? Is the lower demand reaching the construction sites? We haven’t noticed anything of that so far….
I was at the roofer today to pick up a tile to see if it fits the window. Luckily, we wanted red anyway; according to him, other colors are hardly available. Roofing felt would also be very difficult. He said there are some forecasts that it will get better soon, but he doesn’t believe it (and I personally don’t either).

So, with us, the stairs cannot be installed yet because apparently the stair railing made of steel is currently not available.
Last week there was a call from the roofer: the roof tiles (Creaton Domino in black), which were ordered 2 weeks ago, have arrived :) ... but the groundbreaking is not until the beginning of July . Good that the carpenter can store the goods...
Photovoltaic system requested: modules could be installed directly after the roofer work, but the rest only at the end of the year - at least 22 weeks lead time.
I would do it that way too... The scaffolding is already there and maybe the crane as well
Yes, sure... I thought so too. However, there are costs again (about 17k) that could be avoided... I can also install the photovoltaic system after moving in, once I know how much/if anything at all is left from the buffer. We are tendering ourselves, so the costs are currently incalculable. On the other hand: we definitely want the system (but it’s not a must). I’m just afraid that prices will be even higher in a year. hm...
