Yesterday was an open house day at our general contractor, with whom we built 10 years ago. We were invited. They build 90 to 100 houses per year. He says the situation has calmed down. Prices are at a higher level but stable. In some areas, for example, prices are already slightly going down again (wood). He has no delays or stalled construction sites. Location is East Bavaria!

OK interesting!
Does your general contractor build with wood or solid construction?

I have to correct myself a bit. The statement should be better formulated like this:
Last week I ordered a Weishaupt Biblock, which is supposed _to be_ delivered next week.

The background is that there will be another price jump starting in May, and we have now ordered for April 29. We assumed that it wouldn’t be delivered anyway, but this way we have price security.
According to the heating technician, however, the appointment has now been confirmed.

I can also gladly provide an update on this if I find myself facing accomplished/unaccomplished facts.

The question wasn’t directed to me, but since I also have 100% HO: I am an SAP expert / license expert.

IT & software jobs now also have a lot of full remote.
We both do it now and are very satisfied with it, especially since it allows us to relocate to our family. After more than 12 years, I had already stopped believing that. Before Corona, jobs were very location-bound. The move would have required both finding a new apartment and 2 new jobs down there. Now we can move and simply keep our jobs. :)
