Oops Yes, metalworkers earn somewhat higher. Chemistry is always in 2nd-3rd place.

Hi, I quickly compared it with our prices from 2019: All prices net, and with connection by a specialist company. (Bavaria) Solar system 5 sqm with 300l storage - 4600€ Underfloor heating with insulation 210 sqm - 10,500€ Gas boiler with all connection gear and LAS chimney - 5000€ In hindsight, I found the underfloor heating expensive because for plumbing it is "no" work... We could have done it ourselves.

10k for solar thermal, which you'll have to tear down again anyway to install photovoltaic later, I (!) don't find a sensible investment. Save yourselves that and go for heat pump and photovoltaic later when it makes financial sense. The solar thermal system is already half the price of photovoltaic. Think it over again, we all only mean well. Thanks to underfloor heating, a heat pump will also work without any problems.

That will be quite a large solar thermal system that can still support the heating well in winter. I seriously doubt that it won't be worth it.

If he renovates the heating now, he will hardly switch to heat pump+photovoltaics in the next 10-15 years.

So please invest in solar thermal and save a lot of fuel and money over the next 10-15 years.
That makes much more sense than a photovoltaic system, because hot water can be stored cost-effectively.

This heat pump and photovoltaic hype here in the forum is really annoying sometimes.
If you only know a hammer, you see every problem as a nail, right?

That would always be worth it to me for the transfer of the warranty risk. The water damage from a neighbor's leaking underfloor heating is warning enough for me. :D

In winter, when it’s dull and gray^^
Enjoy.

My photovoltaic system is at zero after almost 7 years and then it really takes off;-)
