Last year we also stuck the "premium" ones from Tesa in the bedrooms, but this year we tore them out again and replaced them with ones that have frames. We would do it that way again anytime. The gauze itself also noticeably differs at times in terms of air permeability.

I would always do windows myself. It's not a huge deal.

Function, because it costs extra both for the actual product and for installation. 100 euros DIY vs. 200-250 euros professional provider seem more realistic, I think.
