Many in the AfD were in the CDU for a long time. By reverse logic, would that mean the CDU was once Nazi? Höcke is a dangerous will-o'-the-wisp, but every party has a few of those. In the SPD there are left-wing extremists from the former SED. That does not make the whole party extreme.

A big difference to the other parties is that such people are quickly kicked out. Höcke, however, continues to be happily supported by the party, especially by the current party leadership. That does not exactly speak in favor of the AfD.

No, that’s not what I meant. It’s more about the excess. Who is supposed to eat all of that? And why are there so many (meaning providers... not the traditional ones) at all? The two bakeries also offer training, are active here in the business association, hold open days, and bake cookies and gingerbread houses with the daycare centers. I think this broad positioning (and by that I don’t mean the number of bread varieties offered) will ultimately be a sticking point... or should I rather say... I hope it will be.

There are so many because they offer what we, the consumer, want. You have the packaged cheap products, you have the bake-at-home stuff, you have the baker who, besides the classic baked goods, also offers the service (prepared snacks). Many bakeries and butchers cater to our convenience. What is ready from 5:30 am for craftsmen, factory workers, commuters to grab and pack their breakfast, lunch, and also the afternoon snack. A mother takes the children's lunch boxes with her and has them filled there. Every day.
It is eaten after all. Whether we can afford the luxury of cake and sandwiches every day or even have the full range available at 5:30 pm in the evening is another matter.

And I am accused of babble, that is really very absurd. AFD=Nazi is the cheapest propaganda there is.

Well, far-right party is definitely a more precise term as well.

The biggest competition for McD and BurgerKing are bakeries. If a premium burger place opens somewhere, they don't really care. A good bakery has an immediate impact.
