Have you also factored in the rent increases? You shouldn’t assume that the cold rent will remain the same for 60 years.

We currently pay, for example, 550 € total rent (400 € cold rent) for a 70 sqm apartment. The next tenants would pay 800 €. House costs including land are about 580,000 €. 0.96% interest with a 10-year fixed interest rate. If I now calculate without interest, I come to 120 years (580,000 € / 400 € / 12 months). The question is, how far should I now compare or relate a 70 sqm prefab apartment with a 140 sqm new bungalow + about 1,500 sqm of land? The house also has value, the rental apartment does not.

Our specifications? They are supposed to plan it so that it works well everywhere... I really have no idea about that.

Information might be the more appropriate term. So total volume, floor plan, etc.

Uh no. We will rather move away from here sometime. For example, when the children finish school. I definitely won’t spend 1.2 million for a 140 sqm semi-detached house with a green strip and a garage. Currently, we pay about 1500 warm for a 100 sqm apartment with garden use.

Ok, I can understand that. I currently pay about €100 interest monthly for my 150 sqm house. The rest basically goes into my own pocket.
