I don't know, as we haven't gotten any craftsmen, as I said. Our heating company will at least come in September to prepare an offer for next year; they also have a partner company for photovoltaics. There will be additional costs because, in the process, we would finally renew the 100-year-old original plaster as well as the original floor structure, which means we would tear up the entire ground floor, install underfloor heating there, and insulate to the basement; as I said, we would also renew the interior plaster. Or maybe nothing will happen at all if it turns out to be too expensive...

But people in rural areas are not the target group of the Greens ;)

I paid 24 cents per kWh last year; for that, I wouldn’t have gone through the photovoltaic hassle now... But with 8000 kWh consumption (with air-water heat pump and electric car) and new prices of 30-40 cents per kWh, I just lay down the 20K. And then with a storage system, I am at least often self-sufficient (designed specifically with backup power function)... This won’t be popular here again, but my neighbor was right when he said right after the election: Greens in government? I’m quickly ordering photovoltaic... I thought I’d wait because they would support it or something... instead, they are destroying everything (my opinion)

Was that directed at me? Unfortunately, photovoltaic is going to be difficult.. There is solar on the roof and hardly any space for photovoltaic (due to dormers, the roof is quite convoluted). We have a chimney and I already liked heat pumps even before they became widespread.. My parents replaced their oil heating system with a heat pump and a water-bearing fireplace (for the really cold days) about 15-20 years ago. Works great. We could do something like that too thanks to the chimney.

That's true. I assumed that reasonable renovation and new construction subsidies would be increased or at least remain the same. Instead, environmentally harmful subsidies that have existed for years are being cut. It's a shame; to be honest, I was happy about the composition of the government.

Until March, I had a "green tariff" with just under 23 cents gross for the old house/office and a rented residential unit. But that was with 14,000 kWh o_O. Then the announced tariff increase. The cheapest tariff available online here in March 2022 would have been 42 cents!! I was lucky that GreenPlanet Energy took me on as an additional location for 31 cents. Still, I now end up with 418€ every month (of course mostly operating costs, but still annoying). Photovoltaics almost impossible (old, jagged, crooked, and steep roof, and mostly incorrectly oriented) Now, of course, one can say "if only…", but that the Greens are destroying everything cannot really be claimed. They are mostly taking now absolutely necessary steps that hurt everyone a little, some more, some less. These steps would have been gentler if they had been spread over the last 20 years; we probably wouldn’t have even noticed. The situation we are in really cannot be blamed on the Greens, since they were hardly involved in governing anywhere. We will all have to make sacrifices; if for you it’s just losing freebies (photovoltaic subsidies), then that’s okay. ;)
