I still don’t have the gold scale (and the gold to weigh), but you’re right, one could also view your post less critically ;) On the topic: electricians and drywallers here (Hesse) have appointments available again after the summer holidays…

If a post contains "grüne Kmer" right at the beginning, that is not an opinion, but stupid populism. You can just skip it because you can engage with opinions. You don't have to do that with empty phrases from Telegram groups.

For me, as for many others, the question is profitability. If I only consume 3000 kWh of electricity per year and the photovoltaic system is supposed to cost 30,000 euros, then in my eyes it is a waste of money.

Preferably financed. Then the system will burn money. That must be clear.

Environmental protection and green energy. So why do we even have the 70% rule and are not allowed to feed the excess electricity into the grid, but have to waste it? Can we afford that?

Why do I only get 6.5 cents feed-in tariff while I have to pay 30 cents. The difference is way too big.
There are also no really inexpensive or even free electricity storage systems, such as a [Stromcloud].

I feed in one kWh in summer and take it back again in winter. That doesn’t work.

If there were such incentives, I am sure there could be enough photovoltaic systems.

Unfortunately, activities are very limited, especially in Germany. Nothing is happening on the storage front; the field is completely left to the Asians. Yet, one could certainly build inexpensive compressed air storage systems on a large scale. Without losses and complicated technology.

In summer, pressure storage is filled with compressors and in winter electricity is generated with generators using that stored pressure. If you don’t have it, you can’t do it. We could have had all that a long time ago.

You have always calculated strangely (and incorrectly), Durran. It does make sense. That’s why almost everyone who wants can fully cover their roof without complicated grid expansion, afaik. But you could also try using a search engine. Does the farmer get the same for the liter of milk that you pay as the end consumer? I don’t believe that, Tim. It certainly can be done, they just don’t want to. Maybe because the efficiency is not quite 1 after all?

I can confirm that to some extent. We went to the local building materials dealer just to have a look and to feel out what kind of prices we have to expect for all our outdoor facilities. We also asked about garden and landscaping contractors they know and brought up the topic of appointments and lead times. Until now, we assumed that we could forget about it for this year and that if we commission now, something might happen in 12 months. But the gentleman said the times are currently working in our favor. There are fewer and fewer inquiries, and we could probably have the garden finished at short notice.
