For me, as for many others, the question is profitability. If I only consume 3000 kWh of electricity per year and the photovoltaic system is supposed to cost 30,000 euros, then in my eyes it is a waste of money.
Preferably financed. Then the system will burn money. That must be clear.
Environmental protection and green energy. So why do we even have the 70% rule and are not allowed to feed the excess electricity into the grid, but have to waste it? Can we afford that?
Why do I only get 6.5 cents feed-in tariff while I have to pay 30 cents. The difference is way too big.
There are also no really inexpensive or even free electricity storage systems, such as a [Stromcloud].
I feed in one kWh in summer and take it back again in winter. That doesn’t work.
If there were such incentives, I am sure there could be enough photovoltaic systems.
Unfortunately, activities are very limited, especially in Germany. Nothing is happening on the storage front; the field is completely left to the Asians. Yet, one could certainly build inexpensive compressed air storage systems on a large scale. Without losses and complicated technology.
In summer, pressure storage is filled with compressors and in winter electricity is generated with generators using that stored pressure. If you don’t have it, you can’t do it. We could have had all that a long time ago.
