The number of LAN ports can be discussed. However, the more you rely on WLAN, the more time you should spend on planning and also prepare one or two additional positions for access points. Basically, I am a fan of wiring everything that is sitting somewhere and only connecting mobile devices to WLAN.

Yes, just as one can discuss the number of satellite connections, and whether one even needs something like that anymore. The discussion is ongoing here, more often than one sings "Alle Jahre wieder."

On many work computers, the Wifi is turned off for security reasons. (Almost) all professional devices have a port. With several/many devices on Wifi, the performance drops dramatically. In a new building, one should therefore not install a bottleneck.

I have never heard that before.
Which work computer does not have a VPN and therefore has to rely on a secure transport medium?

My acquaintance had a price increase of 20% after the expiration of the price lock 2 years ago. It was with Eco.... I have the feeling that this is their scheme.
