1 ton of concrete produces 600 kg of CO2 emissions from cement production...

A 30 cm slab, 100 m2 exterior dimension, already amounts to 30 tons of CO2. For the basement walls in waterproof concrete, roughly the same amount again. Plus each ceiling adds another 20 to 30 tons. Sand-lime bricks for the walls also largely consist of cement... that makes about 100 tons of CO2, for which hefty release fees will probably be due soon.

I am currently reading in Energiebau that from August 20 to August 21 construction prices increased by 12.8%.
Wood: +46.5%
Concrete: +14.8%
Steel is tended to be "allocated".
The last price increase of a similar magnitude was apparently in 1970.

I have heard/been served something similar from the general contractor as well.
He adjusted his offer from July upward by 7% last week...
