Unfortunately, yes. Because no matter how great your data may sound, you should mention the construction of new nuclear and coal power plants. And not only in China. So 1/7 of what renewable energies already produce in China today. Honestly, I do not understand the fuss here. With coal, it actually looks different; China is indeed the "world champion" there. But even then, I assume that for China this is a bridging technology that will be phased out sooner or later and replaced by clean energy.

You will not like the answer. Large parts of Ukraine are not a democracy. It is still a cruel, corrupt regime. It is Western propaganda that is spread here and believed by many.

Ukraine wants and needs our support. But it cannot come without a price. We have to force them to negotiate and also to make painful compromises. The highest priority is to protect the population. Zelensky does not care about the population; he burns his soldiers just as ruthlessly as Putin. He just pretends to empathize better. His Nazis and Azov fighters have been integrated into large parts of the military. There are well-founded reports on this from 2014. By the way, on your favorite channels ARD and ZDF, not Telegram.

We force Russia with clear messages and a combination of effective sanctions plus the prospect of relief. But most important: get rid of moral superiority and the USA. Again, the Americans are at least as ruthless and brutal militarily as the Russians. Only there we do not dare to impose sanctions because of NATO.

Our media are largely just as populist and deceitful as the Russian ones. 90% of Russians think their media are honest and therefore support the war. Here, it is exactly the other way around. But it is easy to settle for being in the majority and for lies. I understand that.

At this point, a question: Is the battery actually usable when the inverter is off? In other words, if the grid doesn't supply power and the inverter is dead, can the battery even be drained?

The topic of backup power/emergency power for a heat pump is interesting. It would be important to know whether a photovoltaic system with/without a battery can help and how the technical implementation is.

As long as you are not operating an off-grid system and your battery is not black start capable, photovoltaic + storage is of no use to you. I am only concerned with protecting the equipment. The UPS is not supposed to last through the night, but rather 5-15 minutes.

See above. The UPS serves only as equipment protection. That is correct, photovoltaic + storage brings you practically nothing in gloomy winter months. A sunny January day is then an exception. For this, you actually need an emergency power generator - realistically speaking, that probably won’t happen, you will have other problems than watching TV anyway.
