Huh? That wasn’t doable? Why not?
Your question is very good and relieves me a bit. :-) Sampling appointments are only scheduled after the building permit has been submitted, which was not known to us beforehand. And since we have no influence on the scheduling of the appointment, aside from submitting the building permit, I hope this will not work to our disadvantage, because a late scheduled sampling appointment could nullify any price guarantee.
Therefore, I think that regarding the price, it may not turn out quite as bad for us. We really want to be fair contractual partners and explicitly waived a price reduction because a longer price guarantee was more important to us, or rather, we “traded” that for a longer price guarantee, but we simply cannot pay any price for this house. That is why I also asked here whether the higher material prices are simply passed on to the homebuyers. 30% more, as reported in some media, would be roughly 100,000 Euros for us.
I hope for reasonableness among all involved. It can be neither in the interest of the homebuyers nor in the interest of the construction companies if many livelihoods are destroyed. Within our possibilities, we also want to do our part.
