I don't find it that bad now either, you probably won't cover the entire roof anyway. Price comparisons between the two are apples and oranges anyway, the Harzer Pfanne is made of concrete. However, it is available for delivery and depending on when you want the roof, you should take that into account. The market for clay roof tiles is now so empty that mine (ordered in early March) have been postponed to at the earliest mid-July...

hm... don't scare me now with the availability. The carpenter said - no problem. The roof is supposed to be covered in September

It's not a disaster for now. For me, the roof frame will be erected at the end of this week or the beginning of next week, and then a tarp will simply be placed over the wood fiber boards until the tiles arrive. Otherwise, you can calmly continue building the house ;)

Do you also have a gable roof? With wood fiber boards... also 60mm? Can you say whether my offer (compared to yours) is fair? Or are you building with a general contractor and cannot decipher the price of the individual items?

Exactly that. But it wouldn’t be comparable anyway, as the construction is somewhat different. We have the thermal envelope above the upper floor, and I consider the 35mm wood fiber as good sheathing and less as real insulation. I’m curious how it will actually be in the attic in summer.
