That will not and cannot work because the regular meters are from the local supplier and the "construction power meter", or the number, does not exist.

I changed the provider monthly during the construction phase because there was always cashback on portals. Everything worked out great. Since this meter must also be registered with the supplier. By the way, see my earlier question about this topic here in the forum. Since there was no clear answer, I just did it.

My Media Markt just said on the phone that you do not have to provide the meter number and can submit it later.

EPrimo 29 cents/kWh for 1 year from the contract start
EON 30 cents/kWh for 2 years from the contract start

Which one would you choose?

And when would you start the contract? Rather too early regarding the planned move-in date or rather later? If I set it later than the planned move-in date, I would be sure to have a meter number at the start of the contract; until then, I would be supplied by the basic provider.

If I set the contract start earlier, there is the risk of not having a meter number yet if construction is delayed.

What would you do? According to MM, I can start the contract up to 1 year in the future from today.

eprimo has the price guarantee from the start of delivery, eon from contract signing, just as a note.

Eon and eprimo that cheap? Hmm, probably depends on your region

The regional differences are really crazy. We live in northern Schleswig Holstein and we Holsteiners pay some of the highest prices even though we are at the forefront of green production. ...a bit unfair
