In fact, by now a German production would probably be worthwhile again. Maybe it could be subsidized?

That is what I meant, among other things.

I am definitely in favor, but unfortunately we do not live on the famous pony farm.

We would have to buy back the plants sold off to China (how long does it take to build new ones?) and put them into operation here with non-existent specialists or "only" workers. Not feasible in the short term. It's like with schools. If one is torn down, it is NEVER rebuilt in the town.

About 10 years ago, like foolish sheep in a herd running after the wolf, we all voted for the parties that made stupid decisions corrupted by lobbying (and yes, that was foreseeable) and carried out the biggest sellout of expertise since World War II. I remind you: DE was the world market leader in solar! (yes really, little Germany, not USA, China, or others). Just like with H2O technology (even though I haven’t quite warmed up to it yet). If we had abundant renewable energy, we could really produce green hydrogen and pump it through our soon-to-be empty gas pipelines. Greenwashed hydrogen is not as CO2 neutral as we are made to believe.

But I don’t just want to complain and dwell on missed opportunities. Actually, we have the chance to restart now. It will just take longer than we like and will certainly lead to some social injustices. But for that, we need to get rid of Lindner and Scholz as soon as possible. Realistically, I see no other chance, because both the SPD and the FDP are still slamming on the brakes hard (My crystal ball says that the profit cap on energy producers, with which these aforementioned things are supposed to be financed, will fail because of SPD and FDP!). So, who wants to come with me to a demo against FDP and SPD on Saturday? :D (not me, I have more important things to do ;))

Ask QSSTSolar(Durran) or Snowdy, they’re already nailing the posters to the broomsticks...

My name is Snowy. Oh, and how nice that you don't immediately put me in the AfD corner because that is often linked right away.

Everyone just joins in and focuses on gender-neutral toilets, while we think about what really matters. (-;

My alarm bells are ringing around the clock. When I read that according to the Insa survey, about 25% of Germans would vote for the Greens, I only wish for the downfall. Such a stupid people do not deserve to lead a prosperous and happy life.

Within less than 12 months, green policies have thrown the country into catastrophe. Merkel had already laid the groundwork for this when she gradually shifted the CDU from conservative to left-wing.

We need the latest technologies, engineers, and affordable gas for the transition in this country. The Russia sanctions in this form were the biggest nonsense. But the Greens are unrealistic ideologists; they destroy everything without understanding. They know nothing about technology and the economy; they prefer gendering.

I look forward to a hot autumn with many walks and predict new elections in the spring. The Greens will not even get 25% then. The average German always takes longer to wake up.
