You are talking past each other. One is talking about €1000/1000m3 The other about €100/MWh But it’s the same. 1000L of water costs €1000 100kg of water costs €100 Nevertheless, 10-12 cents exchange price per kWh is damn expensive! I also simply equated 1 MWh = 100 m3 for simplicity, because the exact 3% deviation does not matter in this case. It’s about the order of magnitude.

I was just at the timber yard and saw bulk pellet sacks there. When I asked if and when pellet summer prices could be expected this year, the answer was none at all.

The advice was to stockpile as much as possible; the price per ton was still around €400-€450, and any relief was not expected until next spring.

On top of the general shortage, now the crazy Russian has been added...

Whether it was scare tactics intended to encourage buying remains to be seen; in any case, I will call a few other dealers next week.

I have to apologize. I read Medvedev's statement that way, but now I'm not sure about the units. It also has nothing to do with scaremongering. There is nothing to change about my basic statement. How many tons of pellets do you need?

Well, that's the fundamental problem with propaganda nonsense... Having read and heard something somewhere somehow, talking on mindlessly... that's how propaganda works.
