I’m surprised that this argument only ever comes up with insulation. How much does a kitchen cost today and how long is it used? How often could you eat out? How long could you pay rent until a house pays off? How often could you take a taxi until owning a car in the city pays off? Monolithic construction would be more sensible in terms of the sustainability of the building materials and their lifespan than all the composite materials.

Yes, that’s true. But with an investment volume of currently (at current prices) around €650,000 - €750,000, that’s not an amount that should cause any difficulties.

I am gradually no longer understanding the different variants. I have read that in monolithic construction, buildings are constructed with single-layer walls and thus omit insulation layers, which is supposed to be advantageous in terms of energy efficiency, comfort, and ecology. Has this construction method meanwhile also become critical or undesirable?

Well, the additional insulation basically only brings the benefit of lower heating costs. Otherwise, it definitely has no advantages.
Having your own kitchen of course also saves money compared to daily pizza delivery or eating out every day. But it also allows you to cook things that you can’t simply get from a delivery service. Many things are also not suitable for transport, a fresh steak after 10 minutes in the styrofoam box is simply...

But you could also do that in a 2000 euro kitchen from the Swede. :)

I'm not sure if you'll really manage with 2000€, but of course a more expensive kitchen eventually only gets a little bit better. At first, you still have big advantages, a dishwasher is simply a gain, etc. But it becomes difficult to justify the extra cost of a Quooker compared to a 20€ kettle.
