Probably less now. But on the less productive roof sides electricity is generated when you need it most. So in the afternoons/evenings. So it’s not that stupid to equip those sides as well. Just get information in the expert forum. At that size you should have an electric car and a battery. My 13.26 kWp system will be connected to the grid on 08/30. I’m curious myself how it will be  It’s definitely worth it. The price back then was about €1,030/net per kWp (full-black, power optimizer, etc.).

That was also the consideration. 2k wouldn't be exactly a small surcharge, but still somewhat reasonable, and combined with geothermal energy, I find the concept quite neat. But 4k is definitely another level, especially since I also think we'd only want to run it during really hot times. Currently, the idea is to observe first and maybe retrofit later, which is why I'm asking if anyone knows what such a retrofit would cost. What exactly does the air conditioning preparation include? Of course, it's a bit late now to make major changes to the plans, because upstairs in the hallway, for example, we no longer have any possibility for a drilling at the exterior wall, as it's a large pane of glass ;)

And your electric car will then be charged daily with 50 kWh in the summer, so for 250-300 km? ;) And how big is your storage? 20 kWh? You fill that up with a 30 kWp system in 4-5 hours in July... and then?

I don't want to discourage you, and your solar installer has probably calculated everything perfectly. If you enjoy it, great! But financially worthwhile? No way.

PS: Especially not at the prices currently being asked.

They manage that with the brine-water heat pump as well. It cost an extra €4,200. The reason was that digital room temperature controllers are needed for that and that the extra cost is high. I’m curious to see.

I imagine it would be very unpleasant to walk on a 15°C cold floor in the height of summer because the house is being cooled above it.

Somehow I have the feeling that you only read what you want to read. I never wrote that I want to do it. Only that I could on the roof. It is not even planned to expand it, as I don’t yet know how well I manage with the 13.26 kWp. So calm down a bit and please read more carefully.
