It depends. I had calculated because of the high delivery costs (112.50 EUR net) whether it would be worth driving with a trailer. But that would have been 29 trips and with the fuel prices I would have lost money.

Am I missing something or does the argument "No problem, inflation will also eat away the debts" only hold if salaries keep pace with inflation? My boss, bless his little heart, still refuses to adjust for inflation and at the company where my husband works, 2% is currently being discussed as the maximum since short-time work is also on the table there. We definitely feel the price increases in our wallets.

I ordered liquefied gas a few days ago. Since then, the price has remained exactly the same. Therefore, my question is: Does the effect come later?

I am curious how this will affect the public sector, and what arguments they will use. For teachers, +2.8% was agreed from 12/01/2022. At our hospital, there will also be a maximum increase of 2.5%, if at all. For hospitals, liquidity plays a very important role. You have to advance the salary increase first before you get it back within a year. Most hospitals do not have that much money...

This is the decisive futures market for gas in Europe. Contracts for specific delivery times can be concluded there. The short-term contracts, i.e. for the next few months, have suddenly risen by 40%. This will be reflected in the coming days and weeks. It will soon be covered in the media.

If interest rates have risen in the follow-up financing, there was also inflation. With the targeted 2 percent per year, you can already pay 20 percent more in installments during refinancing. It will probably be more than 2 percent currently. And due to the initially lower interest rate, you repay more in the first 10 years.
