Back again to the photovoltaic obligation. What happens if the photovoltaic system is only available in 20+ months? Apart from the price. Does construction have to be halted or can you already move in? I am also in favor of a photovoltaic obligation, but how is this supposed to be implemented if there is a material shortage? This will surely last a while longer (Covid policy in China, war, etc.). And demand will inevitably increase due to the obligation. How does the implementation look like in reality then?

In BW it is regulated as follows:

Essentially, it will initially come down to hints from neighbors or random inspections by the building authority.

Thanks for the info. Then let's hope that the authorities adjust the appropriate deadline to the market conditions.

I suspect that it does not affect the construction but rather concerns deadlines penalized with fines.

We also have a photovoltaic obligation in this area, and for years there have been builders who don't care about it ... who even checks that anyway. If you place an order, in my opinion it should also be clear that nothing has been overlooked.

By the way, I don't believe in permanent material shortages. The expansion in Germany is not particularly relevant in the world market. Maybe the inverter isn't made by SMA, so what.

We had the shell construction inspection with our electrician yesterday. Afterwards, we spoke with our construction manager. He said that he does not see any delays except for windows and heating/plumbing. In the first case, the delivery time is at least 14 weeks, but this is subject to fluctuations and the window manufacturer only receives notification about their delivery at short notice. As for plumbing, as I understood it, it is due to a shortage of personnel. Since the company is apparently also contractually bound to a large prefabricated house provider, the big ones are served first and then the small ones.
