Development is not supposed to start until after Easter... Theoretically late autumn would be possible... But the general contractor is fully booked until March 23

Because it fits the topic and in case anyone is interested: Yesterday, on the second invoice from the earthworks and civil engineering company, I read the following item for the first time:

"Additional charge for increased energy costs
2.70 hrs energy costs due to the increased costs of diesel fuel per 1,000.00 euro billing amount.
Unit price 25.00 euros"

For us, that amounts to "only" 67.50 euros, but I think it’s new. I don’t know if there is anything about this in the [AGB], because I accept the costs anyway and also understand them.

Are you perhaps planning with Reger Bau?

Unfortunately, this is currently affecting the entire industry.
Even the fair GUs, who previously had no price commitments, let alone price adjustment clauses, have unfortunately made a lot of losses over the past 12 months.

As the previous speakers have already said, this is the only way for a reasonable businessman to not endanger his own existence too much due to lack of planning security at present.

Not directly related to the construction costs, but concerning the construction project. I signed my financing at the end of January. Monthly annuity approx. €1400. Today, out of interest, I made an inquiry with the same values as back then. The rate would already be at €1800+ with the new interest rate from March (almost 0.8-1% interest increase). Only a few weeks difference. I was also lucky; with that rate, we wouldn't have gone through with it.

Similar for us. Financing conditions fixed in early February, signed at the end of February under these conditions. Monthly rate €1400.
With current conditions, at least €250 more per month for the same amount.
