We ordered our photovoltaic system last month: 12.5 kWp + 9 kWh storage + photovoltaic-controlled wallbox including installation and registration for 25,000 net (Rhein-Main area). However, I had to obtain several offers, and between the first cost estimate without having seen the roof on site and the actual offer, the price went up by almost 10% (almost 2 months passed in between, the solar installer is currently fully booked).

Topic interest rates: the labor market report in the USA today was significantly better than expected, recession fears are decreasing -> interest rates are rising rapidly today, also in Europe. I wouldn’t be surprised if construction loan rates rise again in the next few weeks.

I received an offer: 5.28 kWp (16x IBC MonoSol 330 + SMA Sunny Tripower STP) & storage 5.12 kWh (BYD B-Box HVS 5.1) including installation / registration etc. for a total of 18,400 euros (gross)....

That's right, I read the one from 4.8. It was still at 1.63 then and jumped to 1.79 today. What happened?

Currently at 1.62 and thus at a 3-month low. Certain fluctuations are normal.
