Thanks! I had found that. But it says something about "drafts" and "should", so everything is still non-binding. Unfortunately, nowhere does it say when we can expect new binding statements. I mean, 2023 starts in 3 weeks^^.

The background is that people try to avoid sinkholes caused by unnoticed underwashing. Especially in areas or regions with a lot of natural slopes, soil prone to being washed out, or heavily backfilled, this is a major risk. You know it from pipe breaks.

The €200 referred to the year and 2 cars.
Smax st-line 2020 model, VK from €400 per year to €560, next cheapest at Check and Verivox €600...

Likewise the smaller one from €280 to €320.

Cheaper rates usually don’t exist without switching to a much worse base tariff, which means harsher downgrade, etc.

I have been switching apparently every year for 20 years, but this year there was nothing available.

At least in the latest version of BEG from this week, it is still included under point 8.2. When the new version will become binding? No idea. The wheels grind very slowly. But there really isn’t much time. However, I would assume that it will come that way.

But my experience (and I see it with others too) is that the more "storage space" you have, the more (unnecessary) things you accumulate. Because you simply HAVE the space. That was the case in our rental house. Basement and 2 floors. Things somehow "accumulated all by themselves"... Then I would rather put a garden shed in a corner. In the end, it comes out much cheaper!!

It sounded like 2x200€. But 400->560 I also find steep. And in the discussion about storage/space...not everything is equivalent. For us, for example, a basement would probably have made it possible to realize a daylight office without a light well, which then creates space upstairs again. It's not comparable to a garden shed and those fill up quickly too. A basement with moderate temperatures is also not comparable to the -10 to +40 degrees you have to plan for in a garden house. And militant minimalism is usually a sign of applied schizophrenia ;)
