If the average person has a problem building a house, then they simply don’t build one. A house is both a luxury and an investment good. I rarely see houses with photovoltaic systems in the forum. Most of the time, more money is invested in excessive living spaces than in photovoltaic systems.

I believe there would be a significant push if access to a KfW loan were simplified. I’m sure many people are like me. Those who somehow couldn’t decide before, maybe because they were unsure about their budget, and then 1-5 years later think, damn, why didn’t I go for it. You don’t want to touch your ironclad equity reserve. There is now a KfW Renewable Energies loan, but which bank actually does that? I can understand, a complete credit check including collateral etc.? For a loan volume of 10-20k? If there were a simple loan with a simplified procedure here. Only against assignment of claims or something similar (no idea, just a brainchild). I’m sure more people would consider it.

I personally see the problem with the photovoltaic requirement in that as soon as it comes into effect, prices will rise accordingly. This would mean that it would no longer pay for itself and would again become a real factor in price increases.

I don't think so. At most for a very short time. Then GUs would learn to do it directly through roofers and co. instead of first completely roofing the roof and then having a solar installer uncover half the roof again to attach the hooks.

Work is one thing, hardware another. As soon as demand rises and supply remains the same, the price increases. And since demand would be legally enforced, I expect a quite significant price increase.

Photovoltaic prices are global, we hardly influence that with our market
