With us, it came to about three times the number of sockets stated in the construction service description. In addition, individual room controllers for the heating, switches for the electric roller shutters, TV and network sockets, outdoor lights and outdoor sockets as well as a high-voltage connection. It all added up.

Yes, we will receive 45 sockets and will consider before the selection appointment whether we need more. One outdoor socket is included in the price, but depending on the number of terraces, which we have not yet determined, we might want more of those as well. However, we want to base that on the price. My idea is that once we have been informed of the selection appointment, I will send an email to the "selector" with our requests so that he can perhaps give us prices in advance. Then everything will go faster on the selection day, and the risk of poor decisions due to spontaneity will be reduced.

45 sockets? That can't work...

I would expect over 100...

I admit, yes. I just find them prettier, even if they are old-fashioned. Possibly we would also take shutters with them. This might sound exaggerated, but I always have these old Art Nouveau houses in my mind’s eye. However, the division of the muntins in the window is important to me, because I have also seen houses where the casement windows were divided in such a way that the individual panes were not square or "long," but went in the "width." In my opinion, that looked unattractive. That is why it is not quite clear yet how big the windows will be. The thickness of the muntins in relation to the window size also plays a role. That is also why I am already a bit apprehensive about the sampling, because I probably won’t see casement windows in the exact size of our windows there. The disadvantage of casement windows is that they divide the view outside into small squares, but I usually look at my laptop anyway or have the door/window open. ;-)

Thanks, that is very reassuring and relieving for me. Maybe I am also seeing ghosts. I myself don’t consume the usual media that speak of a 30% increase, but I am approached from all sides with worried expressions about it. And that then rubs off on me.

We already have two high-voltage connections in the contract. As for the outdoor lamps, I would really like to have three lamps on each side of the house, nicely distributed. With all these details, I will open many threads and hope I won’t be too annoying. But you can always just put me on "ignore" then.
