Was the installation feasible in EL? Was this your first time doing it?
We are currently planning to install the controlled residential ventilation ourselves. Although I haven't done it before, I am handy and honestly consider it not too complex. With a proper installation plan + pre-made holes in the concrete ceiling, it should be doable, right?
Attached is a picture of the rough installation on/inside the ceiling.
I was more risk-tolerant and calculated the design myself in Excel (volume flows <2-3m/s, while I neglected the pressure differences).
You can make an installation plan, but afterwards the grid carriers lie differently and you have to improvise. A drone photo afterwards is advisable, so you don’t end up drilling wildly through the ceiling later and hit a line. (Nerve-wracking) All in all, up to this point realizable well in EL.
Additional tip: Grid carrier height should allow DN75 pipes to pass through, otherwise you'll get as frustrated as I did when you have to bend them up – I wouldn’t recommend that to anyone.
