Of course there are. But finding a handful among hundreds of municipal utilities outside your own region that supply and also offer a better price is really tedious. It’s not worth the effort. And you can also filter supraregional municipal utilities through portals. For example, I received an offer for electricity from one about 80 km away, which I also accepted.

Did you have prices under 1.70 during the price cap? For us, the prices were rather from 1.85 but mostly around 1.95-2 euros... Now they are mostly between 1.90 and 2 euros as well.

I could also not detect any noticeable lasting difference. With or without the [Tankrabatt], it was usually around €1.80-2.10.

With us, the low point with the fuel discount was around 1.60 for E10 (evening price at Jet). Now about 1.73. In between (so for example directly after [Tankrabatt]) 1.8-2.0
