Really intense offer. 20K gross = net because it would probably only be installed in 2023?
You would have 24 modules and on 3 sides? Does that even make sense?
Yes, 2023. 24 modules, that is correct. It is a hipped roof with a pretty exact east/south/west orientation. Whether that makes sense, I have been wondering the whole time. Payback period somewhere between 13-15 years according to the calculation documents. Of course, there is a wide range possible.
3 roof sides with or without shade management? Anything special about the inverter? Sounds “expensive” to me initially as well but maybe already the new standard?
The inverter offered is a Sungrow SG 10 RT. Shade management is not explicitly listed. I will ask again. Thanks for the hint.
Similar with us. (BaWü)
Battery storage would cost about 10k€ on top.
Battery storage is exactly why it is not an issue for now. I hope (am waiting) for affordable wallboxes that can charge bidirectionally.
Did the same installer put the idea into your head? :p
That is exactly the case, but I will look for a conversation again tomorrow and ask for an “explanation” of the sizing.
The question is what the electricity price will do in the medium term. With double electricity prices compared to before, double the photovoltaic price certainly also makes sense. Especially if electric cars then boost self-consumption in summer in the medium term.
If only we knew that so precisely today ;-)
I once read that up to 70 cents/kWh !could! be possible by 2030. But it could just as well swing the other way – though not that drastically.
