Viewed soberly, interest rates of 0.5% fixed for 10 years are actually ridiculous. Someone is lending you money and in 10 years doesn’t even get a 10% return!!!
Would be unimaginable in private...

I doubt that. So many building savings contracts, Riester pensions, and private annuities have been sold in recent years, all of which yield almost nothing. The capital is tied up forever as well. On top of that, there are many overnight deposits at 0% and the effort people put in to get 0.5% on overnight deposits somewhere in Romania or Bulgaria while inflation is significantly higher...

Private individuals also play along. There are hardly any alternatives. Actually, only the stock market if you can get used to the fluctuations. Although valuations there are so high that honestly, the expected returns for the next few years shouldn’t be particularly high.

A photovoltaic system for self-generated electricity still has a return of 6-9%. And yet, few people have done it in the last 5 years. My parents-in-law haven't either. They prefer to hoard cash... but that's another matter

Question to the bankers... Our loan agreement is available, it must be signed and returned by 21.02. Do I have to be afraid that the bank will withdraw it? I just want to wait until then to do it in case I am still within the cancellation period (Notary appointment is on 04.03.)

Contract obviously comes from agreeing.

So, my fear is unfounded? :)
