But then you should also fairly consider that Hellerau is a suburban district, located 10 km from the city center, directly adjacent to the highway, and the quality of life is slightly affected by the airport only 1 km away. Next, please compare the average income of Dresden with Stuttgart and then we’ll see further.

Also, in Dresden, real estate prices have risen faster than wages over the past ten years, and especially in the immediate urban area, infill development is at full speed, i.e., building gaps are being closed and vacancies are being luxuriously renovated. The best example is the newly developing HafenCity...

Meaningless "example" for dedicated craftsmen....
To make it clear to you: Please keep your "knowledge" to yourself and don't bother us here anymore with your embarrassing rants.

As a spontaneous example, there is a building plot in Stuttgart Zuffenhausen for 800,000€ and 400sqm of area.
This corresponds to a price of 2000 euros per sqm, compared to Dresden with only 240€ per sqm.

However, to be fair, Stuttgart Zuffenhausen is a northern peripheral district and about 10 km from the city center.

In the public sector or among civil servants, incomes should be similar.

How the quality of life in Stuttgart (3060 inhabitants per km²), with double the population density of Dresden, is supposed to be higher is not clear to me.

Anyway, in Dresden you can still build at all. In Stuttgart, you simply cannot anymore.

That was very much personally directed by me and unfortunately appears very generalized. I almost exclusively had excellent craftsmen with me who received generous tips. However, the craftsmen I know do not act like a representative of this category here and try to make wild claims without researched foundations. By the way, lack of knowledge has nothing to do with being dumb. The way of communication and pseudo-argumentation, on the other hand, does. One more note: economically, it can indeed make sense to provide craftsmen with a pleasant atmosphere. Apart from that, the attempt to discredit my post by ridiculing it falls flat.

Sure,

Zuffenhausen is basically remote province and only has Porsche as a small niche employer. And there is nothing else there.
Sorry, but with your examples you are just undermining yourself.

Maybe it is because both the population and the economic output have increased massively since the Marshall Plan and Zuffenhausen offers an extremely strong supply of highly qualified people work. Great example. Once again.
