Yes, that is how it is with us. The nearest recycling center is in the district town and km away. There are a few towns in between, but none of them have such a recycling center.

And since the paper bin is only collected every few weeks, it is naturally always overflowing. What am I supposed to do when I get a few large boxes.
It’s not always the case. I am not the only one with this problem. The yellow bin is the same in yellow.
I no longer get upset about it.

I always read the reports in the newspaper about littering in the forest and in the fields with great interest.

I determine it by the fact that we sustainably consume more than the Earth can "deliver." There is the so-called Earth Overshoot Day. Of course, you can also say that we are not overpopulated, but too wasteful.

Here there is the option to have pickups more often, of course for a fee. Which brings us back to indirect housing costs.

Throwing trash in the forest is of course absolutely not acceptable.

Ecological building was done 150 years ago. Not anymore today.

In the past, you needed a clay pit, a bit of cow manure, and a cow. With that, they built clay houses without timber framing with the best climatic properties. And today, you get an excavator, sort out the wood, and push everything flat. 100 percent recyclable.

The barn was next to the kitchen, and the residual heat from the animals created a good indoor climate. Even without a heat pump and wood stove.

No one questions here why we need so much energy. So we consider how to simply continue this madness technologically CO2-neutral. Example e-mobility: We do not question our mobility behavior but think that we can simply replace combustion cars with electric cars.

How one can deal with numbers objectively. Put your feet in a freezer and your head in an oven. Regulate the oven so that the average temperature of your body is 37.5 degrees Celsius. All good, right?
Nice that you yourself rate that as nonsense.

I'm not saying that nothing should be done. I'm just of the opinion that wind & sun cannot sustainably cover our immense energy demand. Perhaps the problem also lies in the fact that we consume too much.
