Hopefully, there will be no sauna usage ban, mine is already right outside the door ;)

We last had 1800kwh with 4 people. No [WP]. We also don’t have air conditioning, etc. I also haven’t run the dryer for a few years anymore or only 2-3 times in winter, it just collects dust.

So privately I wash and dry (combined appliance) (and I already see many people shaking their heads) only 1-2 loads every 4-6 weeks. I’m extremely low-maintenance in that regard and still have fresh socks and underwear every day :p

So I wash about 4-6 loads per week (depending on whether with or without bedding). Unfortunately. With animals, children, etc., it simply can't be avoided. But I now also have hanging spots for winter and the dryer basically just takes up space.

Caution, air drying in the KfW house can even consume MORE energy than a modern heat pump dryer. Because the damp laundry cools the room air, simultaneously increases the humidity, and one is quickly forced to ventilate extensively. What escapes with the room heat must be reheated by the heating system.

I doubt that. You have the heat pump with 1:4, plus ventilation with 80-90% heat recovery. The dryer can hardly be better than that and if it is, it is quite high-end and expensive to purchase. By the way, air drying is not necessarily indoors, we dry all year round outside on the covered balcony. In calm + fog, you have to bring it inside after 2 days, but otherwise no problem.
