I "had to" renew an electricity contract as of 03/01 and agreed to the aforementioned 33,x cents for 12 months. The price has continued to fall since then, week by week. This is more than before, but still manageable. €10 more per month, so what. My heat pump electricity is still below 20 cents, and the e-car also charges using that. Can't complain. The photovoltaic system also had a few good days this year. Crisis? Not here.

I requested an upgrade of the roller shutters from plastic to aluminum with my preferred general contractor. 4,200 euros for about 40 sqm of window area. I find the surcharge quite steep.

I have just checked. Without knowing the details, I found a difference at an online supplier in the roller shutter curtain between plastic and foam-filled aluminum of about 23 - 35 euros per sqm depending on the profile used.

For 40 sqm, the surcharge for aluminum profiles should be around 1000 euros. And these are not purchase prices but selling prices.

An electric flush-mounted roller shutter Premium with foam-filled aluminum profiles, 2 x 1m in size, in the here universally popular standard gray RAL 7016 costs 266 euros with a switch when ordered online. Just as a comparison figure.

What does it cost with your general contractor? If the surcharge is supposed to be that high.

I ordered my roller shutters online. Mostly in winter, when they included the electric motor with radio remote control free of charge. So basically as a promotion without an extra charge. It really worked great. The quality was top. And the price unbeatable anyway.

The heat flow is an old contract or where do you get it so cheap? We currently have the basic supply from EnBW at 30c and there is nothing cheaper to be found on comparison portals either. For me, the decision will soon have to be made whether I want to keep the second meter. Originally, I only wanted one meter, but that was ignored by the electrician ... and we wanted to change that during the photovoltaic installation. The second meter and contract are in the range of ~120€ per year, so for me it only makes sense if the heat flow is significantly cheaper.

The contract started on 01.12.22 with the local supplier without a price commitment, meaning it could adjust the price with a notice period x. 16.2 cents.
How it looks nationwide, no idea.

Our basic supplier also offers that, 18 cents for heat pump electricity. We also still have an old contract with 20 cents and haven't had a price increase there either.
