I wouldn't want any pipes inside the walls. And accessibility is not an argument for me. When do you need to access them? The pipes will outlive you. P.S. Surface-mounted water pipes haven't been used for 100 years except in basements.

No idea, apparently the executing company wanted to do it that way. It was a discrepancy. We can choose now.

This is the wording:

"... to offer all buyers the possibility not to have the cables surface-mounted in front of the wall in the kitchen, but rather installed in the floor structure.

Please let us know whether you would like to stay with the surface-mounted variant depending on the kitchen planning or if we should carry out the re-planning for installation in the floor structure for you!?"

So the pipes that will later be covered by the kitchen. This can be done. However, the downside is that you then have to pull your kitchen cabinets slightly away from the wall. That costs space or requires a deeper countertop (which I can recommend regardless).

You cut that out.

In the kitchen, the countertop is okay as long as it comes from below and not across. However, it is still unnecessary.

So better let it warp in the floor structure so that as little as possible is visible on the plaster?

Yes, in the floor up to the point where the connection in the wall is supposed to be. From there, it can then be run surface-mounted upwards. Depending on the wall, I would definitely do it surface-mounted there (outside wall or wall to the bedroom).
