I would like to refer again to #8988. But of course, getting people to apply for [Wohngeld] is not as popular as distributing funds with the watering can. And the next government will then take care of repaying the incurred debts ;)

No, that was meant kindly. Sorry, under certain circumstances there can be a household deficit in the month of purchasing oil or pellets. Thus, the H4 recipients will also be exempted from the additional payments, provided they submit the application in time.

How do you calculate that? At 32 cents I need about €150/month to heat our 220 sqm (and nicely warm too). Hot water is included as well. I find that pretty great! Renovated old building with air-water heat pump.

Quick question to the group:

If I cancel my electricity provider, do I automatically fall into the basic supply? Do I have to take action myself? I read something about a replacement supply after cancellation, which is supposed to be significantly more expensive?

Thanks in advance!

I was predicted 5000 kWh electricity from the heater for a new building... 155 sqm, KfW55

District heating costs 8.9 cents/kWh... heat pump tariff currently not below 50 cents/kWh

With an average seasonal performance factor of 3...

That would put you at 15,000 kWh heat demand.
With 155 m² that would be 97 kWh / m² / year. Something is completely wrong there...

For comparison: Our house from 1930 (renovation planned) has 137 kWh / m² / year.
