For acquaintances, the offers were sometimes 70% above the architect’s estimate. That’s quite a shock when you’ve already planned your loan. They then spent ages searching for affordable offers.

Something unusual about construction costs
Our general contractor ordered and paid for 40 Nibe air-to-water heat pumps in October
None have been delivered until today (including ours, so currently unfortunately at a standstill)
Currently, the plumber is checking whether he can get a Vaillant instead
According to him, the price increase compared to last year is probably 3k €
We don't know the type etc. right now, I want to look for a solution with him this week because "waiting" is not an option for me

I just heard that Viessmann has recently raised prices on items not yet delivered. Whether it’s just heat pumps or other things too, I can't say. They apparently pass on a supplier increase they themselves have received.
