China granite has always been "cheap goods". For ecological reasons, it is a no-go anyway. There are so many European granites (just a bit more expensive).

I see it the same way. But it is DIY store material, which many people know and then also order (from the garden and landscape gardener).

I find granite quite monotonous anyway. Much nicer is Muschelkalk. I would have liked gneiss, but it's relatively hard to get. Comparing prices is definitely worth it here

There are so many different types of granite. I think you can't really call it monotonous.
