I can say it again if you like. When 60 cents becomes normal, things go downhill. And with everything. No civil servant with lifetime tenure will feel safe anymore.
And it will go downhill. The fat years are over.
Even Habeck says that.
2-3 vacations per year - gone
2-3 cars per household - gone
Cheapest groceries in the EU area - gone
Child goes horseback riding twice a week - gone
Newest phone every year - gone
Eating out 4-10 times a month - gone
Everywhere "Adidas" "Samsung" "Apple" "BMW" SUVs - gone
Unskilled laborer works on the Audi assembly line - 3000€ net - gone
250sqm house with basement and 10m double garage for 4 people? - gone
New car every 3 years - gone
This year pool, next sauna, then beach chair - gone
World champion in producing waste (per capita) - gone
Wasting tap water because it "costs almost nothing" - gone
Photovoltaics - not worth it since payback is over 15 years? - gone -> Is it worth it at 60ct/kWh?
Why always 5% more for everyone? Why not simply 200€ more for everyone, those who earn little will be happy - The man in a suit and limousine may not be so happy, but he probably has enough to live on...
...
And does life get worse because of that? I say no
And I'm only talking about the top 50% in Germany here - the bottom 50% already live like this anyway.
