Wrong. There is nothing better than RealLifeData and it clearly speaks against mandatory masks. As an unvaccinated person, I care less about all of this. I understand many vaccinated people are now scared. But that has been everyone's personal decision, I no longer have any understanding for the whining. Sorry!

As I said, I am still waiting for the countries that have performed better or equally well as we have without mask mandates. In my opinion, the experts who you think have been "wrong" delivered decent results and prevented us from seeing images like in Italy, the USA, etc.

The data from the UK and Sweden only show me that we definitely should not copy the strategy of letting the virus spread.
The data in comparison:
DE: Population 83.4 million people, registered infections: 32 million, registered deaths from Corona: 148 thousand deaths, fatality rate: 0.5%
UK: Population 67.2 million people, registered infections 23 million, registered deaths from Corona: 205 thousand deaths, fatality rate: 0.9%
Sweden Population: 10.3 million people, registered infections 2.3 million, registered deaths from Corona 19.9 thousand deaths, fatality rate: 0.8%

Again, please name the countries that performed better or equally well without mask mandates and "insane" measures. I want to inform myself and evaluate the numbers. Accordingly, I and many others can decide whether the measures are necessary.

Oh boy....

Why and for what reason should I, as a vaccinated person, be scared stiff? I am really curious about that! Is there a new great story about vaccine side effects on Telegram? Did I miss something? Am I finally going to get a second head? Come on, spill it!

How can anyone still get upset about the corona nonsense? The topic is settled and done. Exactly what was already predicted as the likely scenario at the very beginning is happening: that there will always be new mutations, which become more contagious but less deadly, and they will stay with us. In other words, corona won’t disappear anymore; it is now another respiratory disease that circulates in waves and your body will regularly come into contact with it. Whether you prepare your body for it with vaccinations or think that an infection is a lower risk than the vaccine simply DOESN’T GIVE A DAMN TO ANYONE! Your opinion about it is important for you personally, and that’s fine, but otherwise it’s completely irrelevant to others. Do whatever you want, but don’t annoy other people with it!

Good grief.....

On the topic, has anyone ever noticed price reductions on insulation materials? I had already looked into better insulating our upper floor ceiling two years ago. And back then, I was looking for EPS boards with WLG 35 and 80 to 120 mm thickness. Unfortunately, I abandoned that idea back then and didn’t order. The current price is almost three times what it was two years ago. For me, the question now is: be annoyed and order at the high price or wait and hope that it goes down at least a little again?

Many greetings,

Andreas

Sweden is a good example. No mask mandate and fewer infections. The fatality rate is inaccurate. One would have to distinguish between dying from and with Corona and much more. Masks only protect against infection and not against severe courses.

Which is wrong. Masks protect against severe courses because they significantly reduce the viral load being transmitted. It also makes a difference whether you pick up a few dozen rotaviruses on a door handle or whether you are vomited on by a child for days. The former might just cause an uneasy feeling in the stomach, the latter means occupying the bathroom as living and sleeping quarters for two days.

Oh dear, setting aside the population density Sweden has and what it might look like if it were similar to ours (see Poland's figures). What triggered me the most is the "with" or "from" Corona death. Classic example: Car crashes into a tree, person dies from internal bleeding. Did they die from or with a car accident? Would they have survived without the car accident? Would the person have died from internal bleeding anyway without the car accident? I think the answer is: The person died from "XYZ" caused by Corona or the person died from internal bleeding caused by a car accident.
