They are just exceptions, the masses correspond to my statement. I myself grew up in an environment where children of late repatriates mostly succeeded through the second educational pathway.
I also thought like you, but it is like that. Currently, I see it again myself. Children in our residential area, piano lessons, drawing, learning English by playing with toddlers, etc... all that costs, but it also provides a certain foundation.
However, the risk then increases that these children will break down differently than their peers from the block ghettos. X courses per week, exactly delivered by mom in the combat helicopter bus, and with a carefully selected circle of friends. With the planned legalization of cannabis (which comes exactly from these milieus), there will be an early new dead end for the pushed-through offspring of the middle class who would like to be upper class.
In the end, it’s quite simple – education & knowledge, as well as skills (craftsmanship, art) simply have no value in society. This affects both sides of the divide. Influencer, Twitch star, media jobs, or retiree – all much more attractive than laboriously learning something. The goods arrive in brown boxes at the door, and as long as there is electricity, everything is fine.
Well, a bit of cultural pessimism, but I maintain that education (= the process of learning) plays no role in society, at most as an output KPI. Good report card, all good. We don’t spend money on that either, and existing opportunities (and there are plenty) are also not used.
