I can now quantify the price increase since the adjustment of the offer came.
The roof was ordered at that price.

Original offer from 23.2.21

KVH per cbm €502.90
BSH per cbm €754.35
Battening of the rafters €4.44 per sqm

Adjustment from 20.4.21

KVH per cbm €841.23
BSH per cbm €962.36
Battening of the rafters €4.59 per sqm

So it had already gone up significantly. The carpenter’s statement is that since the roof order, the prices for the structural solid wood have risen another €30/sqm.

The battening has remained stable because he has 6 km of roof battens stored in his yard.

Perhaps as an addition: The other trades (there are about 12 individual items) remain constant in price but have also received a binding order. It is possible that they will rise further due to the current situation if re-tendered.

What does that mean for the total cost of the roof approximately? Can't really estimate how many cubic meters of material are needed there :D

Ah, all clear, thanks for the answer. As a rule, probably even more, because not everyone likely has 6km of laths in stock :D

So, and how do I now convert the 6km poles into cubic meters?
