We now have our own stove for the first year. So far, we have more or less gotten the wood for free. Large poplar pieces from an acquaintance and a 20m fir tree that was too close to the house. Not easy wood for beginners. I’m looking forward to the first meters that have a normal diameter next month we’re going into the bend. We don’t have to pay for that either. By the way, I also “tried” splitting, but honestly… what a load of crap. I find it much more dangerous than handling the chainsaw.

Hello,

Wow, that’s about 5-6 times the heating energy demand of our house! And we have 180 sqm plus basement completely heated.... Maybe the plans to make energy renovation of old buildings mandatory aren’t so bad after all...

Best regards,

Andreas

That is really an extreme wood consumption.

If it's cheap, you don't have to save. Then the climate doesn't matter either.

Hey guys. The gas price is currently as cheap (under €1.60) as it has ever been this year. I still remember how in spring I drove to the construction site every day for €2.15 /L. That really added up. Now you can more calmly also make more "fun" rides or trips...

Goal achieved... from 1 euro to 1.60 and everyone is happy about how cheap this increase is.
