You can still see the economic/energy topics one way or another, but the Infection Protection Act is a bit far removed from construction costs for me now. Our developer seems to be slowly getting moving (there are interested parties but no contract so far). He hasn't changed the price yet (and the contract draft includes a price guarantee without any time limit or the like), but he also said that the calculation for the upcoming construction phases looks different (strongly implied, more expensive). A bit annoying, we probably completely missed the interim interest rate recovery and are now asking again close to the yearly high *sigh*

It’s the other way around. You cannot force people to do something without reason. At the same time, the evaluation by the experts showed that there is NO evidence for a mask mandate. Countries without mask mandates perform just as well as we do. Even the hotspot rule has shown this within Germany.

Therefore, nonsense and no science. Besides, it’s about much more than just the mask mandate in the new IfSG.

It is true that the IfSG involves more than just the mask mandate. But many experts also believe that a mask mandate is very helpful at higher numbers and significantly reduces infection.

Which countries without a mask mandate performed well? Poland, which had some of the highest death rates? Mexico, which has by far the highest case fatality rate? The only countries that performed just as well or better are South Korea, China, and France, but the measures those countries had should be known to them: curfews (including during the day, etc.), mask mandates outdoors.

Which experts are supposed to be those? The ones in the expert council who were wrong for 2 years now? A Drosten, a Brinkmann or a Sanders (Pfizer sends greetings). Please don't make yourself ridiculous.

There is more than enough data from the UK, Sweden, or even Hamburg. Mask mandates have zero effect. That of course does not mean that masks do not work. It is only about the mandate.
