You are probably right about that, I just meant that the prosperity and welfare of the construction industry surely does not depend on a few more or fewer single-family houses.

Can you please provide a source for this? According to the official figures on European countries from the Federal Statistical Office, Germany is almost exactly at the European average. Therefore, I do not want to leave this statement unchallenged.
