After all, it should possibly be possible again from 2023 to have own work or materials for own work funded under the supervision of an EEE, which would be interesting for us. Currently, I am trying to get craftsmen for summer 2023....let's put it that way. I actually thought it would be easier in the current situation. I don't really notice much yet that they might be less overloaded than in previous years.

The whole thing will get interesting in 7-8 years when all the "Auf Kante" loans at <1% for 10 years with 2% repayment expire. I think many have held a remodeling party with the cheap money. Best to save now and then pick up the bargains... As bitter as that sounds...

I don't believe it, I've been hearing that for many years.

I'd be one such candidate, but I repay at least just under 5%, luckily I insulated just above the kfw40+ standard, there are certainly other candidates with problems. The loan runs out in mid-2030. Since most of it was self-built, I was at about 1350€/m2 construction costs and invested almost two years of my free time for it. About 2500h

But I still went to the muster party.
Nobody could have guessed it would escalate like that!
