Right, on the one hand, you can move to the region you want, or (in my case) you can stay in your region and work for companies that are not nearby. For example, I work for the Hamburg office of a Swedish company. The trip to Hamburg takes about 3 - 3.5 hours from here. I assume that remote work will also have a massive impact on rural and very urban real estate markets.IT & software jobs now also have a lot of full remote options. We both do that now and are very satisfied with it, especially since it allows us to relocate to our family. After more than 12 years, I had already stopped believing in that. Before Corona, jobs were very location-bound. The move would have required finding both a new apartment and two new jobs down there. Now we can move and simply keep our jobs. :)
