But something needs to be said here after I have read all the posts:
In theory, one could actually say that it is unfair if someone is born disabled, and you could certainly list countless other things that are also unfair. However, no one can do anything about where and how they were born. No one is forced to reproduce, and if people in Africa decide to do so, even though they are aware of their situation, then it is their own fault and not evil Europe’s! (I would also not recommend people receiving citizen's income to bring children into the world).
And honestly: If you all argue like that, I could also say that it’s unfair that you all have a house and I and others do not. But I don’t do that, because you are not responsible for that. That is absurd.
And you as homeowners belong to the privileged yourselves, yet you demand that other people redistribute their wealth. That makes no sense to me!
I am really getting chills down my spine right now. I thought with a certain generation opinions like these would simply die out, but having to read this from a young woman around 30 really makes me doubt our education system.
And do you really believe that the world and the country we live in are not like that themselves? There is also poverty in this country, but instead of first fighting it, even more poverty migrants are being brought into the country.
For you, there are only 2 extremes: Either you are for poverty migration (and in your eyes that makes you "good"), or you are against it (then you are a very bad social Darwinist). But it never occurs to you that there is no black and white. You can also live like in Switzerland, where people are not so heavily burdened and the whole topic is viewed more differentiated, because they have a natural sense of what is a tolerable level of immigration and when it becomes too much. We are not forced to pursue this policy!
