Alright, there will be no photovoltaics for now. That can never pay off, unless maybe you run a mining farm.

The offer is also a topic here

You first have to deduct the openWB from your calculation, which is not cheap even in purchase, and then there are connection costs etc. added. He is then at 31k net for 21kwp, which corresponds to about 1.476€/kwp, but with SolarEdge optimizers. Those probably account for 150€/kWp. Then the situation looks different again. Although I wonder what they are good for in such a large system or how bad the shading situation really is.

It’s certainly not a bargain, but photovoltaics is currently the new gold...

The photovoltaic companies in our region are so heavily booked that we cannot get an offer anywhere. In the past few weeks, I have been rejected by four companies with the statement that no offer can be made in 2022 anymore. They don’t even maintain a waiting list or anything similar; when there is some availability, they just take the next customer. That’s really crazy. I would already be satisfied with an offer in the next few months..

I was at my solar installer today. He reported that he is fully booked until at least next year (mid). At the moment, he is not taking any more orders because the material situation is very tight. Modules and storage are sold out until the end of the year, and inverters are almost nowhere to be found. And prices have also gone up. Yep, photovoltaics seem to be the "new gold." And if the requirement for new buildings comes, well, then it will get even worse and prices will continue to rise. Good for the photovoltaics industry, bad for the customers.
