Travel time is also time and has to be paid for. Completely normal. Otherwise you wouldn't find anyone for a 10-minute job.

The travel was extra! Can you explain 300 bucks for 5-10 minutes to me? I find it extortionate, currently that’s a trend in construction.

Then why do you pay if the billed effort is untrue?

If extra travel costs are added, note that this is often only for the vehicle and travel time is charged separately.

No idea what you consider normal, but €50 travel costs for less than 10 km travel distance (presumably they only came from the neighborhood, so it was under 2 km) is ambitious. It is also okay if everyone else considers it fair. I consider it usury. Brazen and unjustified. The market is broken, at least they were able to repair it properly. I find it worse if I have to explain to the specialist how to do it. The last two electricians. That is absolutely not acceptable.

Have you tried to file an objection? They must have written a service report, right?

There’s not much missing, soon I’ll start my own business as a general caretaker.

We also have this problem with the homeowners’ association of our condominium in the city. The manager sends a roofer for a 4-hour repair. 10m of cap flashing, 10m of Wakaflex, and some roof silicone. The whole thing was executed extremely unprofessionally and the invoice was then 1700 net. (Materials amount to about 200€)

Simply a JOKE how people let themselves be ripped off!!!
