Anyone who terminates their electricity contract extraordinarily due to a price increase automatically falls into the basic supply of their respective provider.

Replacement supply only applies to those whose provider goes insolvent or simply no longer supplies.

So far, the basic suppliers have been stable in terms of prices. That is now over.
EnviaM, with 600,000 customers in central Germany, is increasing the price from 28.85 to then 48.06 cents per kWh of electricity starting 01.01.2023. That is a 66 percent price increase.

It must be considered that many municipalities are shareholders and are making a good profit. And we are currently talking about a net stock market electricity price of around 5 cents.

The fact that many pensioners and socially weaker people are in the basic supply tariffs is a delicate matter.
No one should be happy about this because it will affect everyone sooner or later. The electricity price for everyone is tending towards 50 cents and more. Much work for the electricity disconnectors.

And I am not surprised that many providers are now adjusting their prices to the electricity price brake of 40 cents. The electricity price brake ultimately causes electricity price increases.

Please back up these claims with sources. I believe the electricity price at the Leipzig electricity exchange (there are others) is many times higher!

(Regarding my source: One of our tax advisors is a shareholder in a wind farm, so we practically receive some interesting information that, as a layperson, you can find out but usually don't... this is where I got the aforementioned significantly higher electricity prices from... Google also provides other information). Otherwise, I would really be interested in the real prices: fact check gladly by other forum members...

Yes sir

Exactly. Everyone in the villages is a member and the operators themselves have houses here. There are such projects in many villages in the area—new buildings don’t really benefit from it (okay, seeing the electricity prices now for the pumps makes you feel sick?), but in old buildings it’s even better. Oil heating out, make space and put in a bit of a transfer station.

Nice model! Don't you have to provide a buffer?

Here the operator is a cooperative which you can't join as a consumer... They need 60 tons of corn per day and have been blowing off the waste heat into the air since 2012... Someone just had the idea to monetize that again...

With the 416 GG and 9 cents/kwh there is still a minimum purchase quantity of 18,000 kwh... for that I still have to provide a 600l buffer tank...

Hello Durran, you’ve been away for a long time. Is there currently little going on over in the yellow and the golden?
